Two guys with Aphasia from brain cancer and a stroke decided to leave the couch behind and aggressively pursue LIFE again. So they established a group separate from their support group where they could do extra work to regain their ABCs and words and speech, in general. Oct. 5, 2010, they spoke, for about their fourth time, to a group about technology that helps disabled people overcome deficits, reconnect with people and the world, and regain as much of their lives as possible.

Dan Hogan and Nick Meier are two guys struck with Aphasia from cancer and stroke, respectively. But their brains retain intellect, and they couldn't stand sitting at home watching tv the rest of their lives. Lucky for us! They are two members of Brain Buddy who have begun speaking to groups about their efforts to overcome Aphasia, and the technology they are seeking out to do that. October 5, 2010, they spoke to Hangout, a support group for people with brain injuries, who nearly went wild about the technology Dan and Nick demonstrated.
