Ambucs & Common Cause
In Project: Views from Denver

<p>Vance Hall, president of Ambucs, invites everybody to Herman's Hideaway November 4, 2010 for a big bash raising funds to provide cycles so disabled children and adults can enjoy mobile recreation like never before. And Jenny Flanagan, of Colorado Common Cause, offers phone numbers and a website for folks with questions or problems during this voting season (and beyond!). This live hour unscripted talk show includes one of the brightly colored cycles destined to make some child happy, while also exercising muscles and limbs otherwise left wishing.

Managing with a very short growing season and water constraints, she and her interns have created magic. Tour the sun-warmed, insulated greenhouse where greens are grown year-round. It's home to a waterfall and pond with fish, trellises for grapes and seedlings, artwork for the soul, and mushrooms growing from straw.
