Description:
When you need freedom of movement in a scene, high-quality wireless microphones are the right choice of gear for the job. The Sennheiser Evolution G2 offers the ability to pick-up superb sound, even in demanding situations. The Sennheiser Evolution G2 has an impressive 1440 channels of Frequency Auto Scanning. The system is nearly flawless, providing noise-free transmissions with good, clean sound.
The transmitter and receiver are much smaller than many other on the market and are come in a sturdy metal housing with a backlit LCD read-out display. Unlike many other wireless receivers, the Sennheiser EK100 receiver mounts to the camera via the hot-shoe or an included accessory, which allows it to clip to anything.
An interesting feature in the Sennheiser Evolution wireless set is called "Pilot Squelch." When enabled, this feature sends a high-pitched tone at all times from the transmitter. The frequency is high enough to not be heard, but if at any time the receiver stops picking up the frequency, it automatically mutes the channel.
Key Features:
- Pilot Tone Squelch for Eliminating RF Interference When Transmitter is Turned Off
- High-Quality True Diversity Reception
- Automatic Frequency Scan
- Absolutely Reliable Transmission
- 1,440 Tunable UHF Frequencies
