The Sony F-740 is a dynamic handheld microphone designed for vocal and general instrument capturing in sound reinforcement, public address, and recording situations. The capsule features a cardioid polar pattern which is effective in minimizing off-axis signal, resulting in higher gain before feedback when using near monitor speakers. The capsule features an AINICo magnet and copper wiring for optimum transparency and detail. It's durable enclosure protects the capsule from damage while able to withstand the rigors of road use.
