RISE Colorado works to Educate, Engage, and Empower low-income families and families of color to RISE as change agents for educational equity in our public school system.

Aurora Public Schools are the most diverse in the state of Colorado. Given this diversity, it’s important all students, regardless of immigration documentation, feel safe in the community. Parents and students were empowered by RISE Colorado to draft a school board resolution that protects diverse students and advances educational equity.
