On the first Friday of every month, Open Media Foundation holds a free community event, Open Music Sessions, at the Denver Open Media studios (near the Sante Fe Art Walk) that spotlights local performance groups, comedians, and nonprofit organizations.

Curta was the first featured musical act in May 2016.  This is their song "Rap Trope Questionnaire."
