On average, 22 veterans commit suicide every day according to a 2012 report from the Veterans Health Administration. PTSD is the leading cause of suicidal tendencies and cannabinoid therapy is emerging as an effective medical counter measure to alleviate the symptoms of this post-combat mental illness as well as other issues such as chronic pain. Guests discuss issues such as PTSD, Project 22, New Approach Missouri and engagement in cannabis-related policy advocacy and public education. NORML is the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws. NORML's mission is to move public opinion sufficiently to legalize the responsible use of marijuana by adults, and to serve as an advocate for consumers to assure they have access to high quality marijuana that is safe, convenient and affordable.
