Colorado Preservation Inc.'s annual conference in February of 2011 included a presentation by a group of friends of former First Lady Jeannie Ritter about their efforts to produce a brief video from historical photos and records about the Colorado Governor's Mansion.
While they spoke, Jeannie Ritter popped out of the crowd to add her two cents worth about the effort to appreciate this grand mansion that serves in many ways, including as the governor's residence, and as a museum of unusual treasures from far lands, and a donation from historical figures.
Oh, and as a free tour on certain days.
Colorado Preservation Inc. is a nonprofit organization working to identify and preserve historical treasures in architecture around the state of Colorado. CPI holds its annual conference in February, so watch out for the next one!
