On the first Friday of every month, Open Media Foundation holds a free community event, Open Music Sessions, at the Denver Open Media studios (near the Sante Fe Art Walk) that spotlights local performance groups, comedians, musical acts, and nonprofit organizations.


In February 2016, Natalie Tate was the featured musical act; Mara Wiles was the comedian; and the Nonprofit Spotlight highlighted Project Voyce and the work they do throughout the Denver Community.
