In this episode of Far More Colorado, Host Lynne Rawlins talks with Sandra Wagner, Program Director of the AARP Foundation Senior Community Service Employment Program in Denver, Colorado. She has demonstrated courage and dogged determination to provide a service to Colorado older adults that she classifies as “a hand-up and not a hand-out”. Her position with the AARP Foundation SCSEP Program allows her to add action to a passion for assisting those who cannot help themselves. Sandra is a Renaissance woman, who, since she was a child, has set her own agenda while at the same time balancing her career in helping others, acting as a wife, mother and homemaker, and participating in the community as a volunteer.
