Raw Videotape of the testimony on HB1152 and SB153 House Judiciary Committee on Feb. 17, 2010 hears testimony on HB1152 for civil rights for disabled people, which also discusses dogs for the disabled. It also provides a method of suing state agencies that refuse to accommodate the disabled, making state law match federal law. Julie Reiskin, executive director of the Colorado Cross Disability Coalition, testifies, as does Joe Beaver, founder of a group of disabled Democrats, as well as Kevin Williams, attorney for CCDC. Sen. Betty Boyd testifies Feb. 18, 2010 before the Senate Health and Human Services Committee on SB153 regarding Behavioral Health Screenings, though the bill drops inmates from screenings. Too bad. Total videotape is more than one hour.
