<p>Judy Dettmer, CSU researcher, presents work on a screening tool for school employees to use to segregate children with brain injuries from those in special education otherwise. Other researchers at CSU working on this project also present during this hour long program from the 25th Annual Vail Conference of the Brain Injury Association of Colorado in October 2007. Dettmer promised to update folks as this project continues, so watch for the 27th annual conference this October but this year in the Denver Tech Center @ biacolorado.org. Accurate diagnosis offers the opportunity for accurate help that makes sense and gets you somewhere, instead of frustration and failure during formative years.</p>
