This Brainiacs includes a program from New Mexico entitled: "The Critical Link: CHRs & Traumatic Brain Injury in Indian Country," which features Dr. James Malek, Emeritus Professor of Psychology, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, and Director of Research, Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana.
At 35 minutes, it provides startling information that Native Americans seem to experience more TBIs than the general population of the USA, then explores why.
CHRs are Community Health Representatives.
