In Project: Bernie's out west Journeys
In this show we’ll travel to Lookout Mountain Park in Golden, CO off interstate 70 just west of Denver to visit the Buffalo Bill gravesite and museum. Born in 1846, William F. Cody experienced the Old West to its fullest. His skill as a buffalo hunter gained him the nickname "Buffalo Bill." Treasures found at the Museum include Frederic Remington's "Portrait of a Ranch Hand," and many other objects from the Old West. You will visit the one and only grave of William F. "Buffalo Bill" Cody. While in the area don’t miss the active buffalo herd, other wildlife, and natural attractions of the region. Bernie interviewed Steve Friesen the Director of the Buffalo Bill Museum and Grave.
