During this one-week "crash-course" in business, students will meet new friends from across Colorado and Wyoming, live on a college campus, work with local companies on an "Apprentice"-style project, learn how local business got their start, and find out more about themselves and their futures.
Interactive presentations and small group discussions delivered by prominent Colorado Business executives become the academic backbone for the highly educational and informative week. Simultaneously, students work in "companies" of 10-15 students with the help of a company advisor.
The students get a taste of college life by spending the week on a university campus and living independently in the residence halls. Experienced resident advisors, company advisors, and staff from both Junior Achievement and Johnson & Wales University stay overnight to ensure a safe environment for all.
