Each year, Urban Peak - a nonprofit helping homeless youth - holds a large fundraising dinner called Maverick Thinkers. A community leader is honored for their impact as well as a youth for their success. Each Maverick Thinkers features a video that gives insight into the work done at Urban Peak.

A series of historical events both tragic and triumphat of the Great African American and why Black History Month is a time of remembering, perspective, vision, direction, sorrow, gladness, celebration with thanksgiving, teaching and charity.
