A highlight reel of the Colorado Education Initiative's June 2016 Snowmass Showcase. This year’s theme Sparking Curiosity challenged participants to get curious about their own learning and to ask questions, explore, build skills, and see promising practices up close. Educators chose from eight styles of breakout sessions designed for adult learners. They experienced CEI’s inspiring Ed Talk keynotes — personal and passionate stories from local educators — and keynote Tony Wagner. SpaceLab’s Seeing is Believingexpeditions took them on adventures to nearby learning experiences. Discovery-based learning activities from partners OhHeckYeah, RAFT, and the Colorado Geographic Alliance helped educators to explore the powerful connection between play and learning.
