<p>Tony Bruno didn't know one of the veins in his brain had been severed during a sparing match, but the next day when he began another sparing match, his traumatic brain injury became evident. Pete Bruno, his father, recalls the decisions to induce a coma in attempt to save his only son's life 25 years ago. Today, Tony's ordeal is featured in a documentary "After the Last Round," set to premiere in Denver May 30 on the Auraria Campus. Pete Bruno, a member of the board of the Brain Injury Association of Colorado since Tony's TBI long ago, also authored a book recently called "Dying to Fight."
