The book examines the many subversions of democracy at every level of government intensified by notions of corporate, religious white male supremacist entitlement that have gained hold over a half century, consequent with the upward transfer of power and wealth.

For this show I think I found the “subject matter expert” on the Ute Indian nation. I surfed into the Denver area Tesoro Cultural Center website and saw that a talk was to be given on the history of the Ute Indian nation by a tribal member of the Nation, I had to go! Ernest House Jr. is the former executive director of the Colorado Commission of Indian Affairs (CCIA). The Ute people are the oldest residents of Colorado, inhabiting the mountains and vast areas of Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Eastern Nevada, Northern New Mexico and Arizona.
