Citizens of Castle Rock, Colorado, mounted two election contests in 1998 and 1999, to slow development. Developer interests successfully fought the efforts with the use of mail ballots and middleman delivery of voted ballots, permitted in Colorado law.

This is one of my earlier videos from New Year's Eve. I was at the station checking out and at work with way too much time on my hands. I had a lot of fun making this video. Sorry for the poor quality.

Grand Marshall Anthony Hubert seems to be having as much fun as anyone, even anticipating so many candidates for his own productions of the Rocky Mountain Children's Theatre Conservatory.

Approximately 4,000 Denver Public School students participated in the festivities May 6, 2010, including the parade which gets traction after all those speeches!
